Tour description;

A very balanced three-day event for the whole family with guided free ride around the Wagrain Bike Park in the state of Salzburg, ideal for a weekend of biking with the whole family, beginners and kids.

Bikepark
The Wagrain Bike Park offers both technically challenging trails along with still largely unspoiled nature away from the park where downhill freaks romp about and pump up their adrenaline levels every weekend.
The daily programme offers easy descents or rapid downhill rides -- everything a biker could wish for.

BikeHiking
We have prepared a bike hiking trip to the Griessenkareck. This demanding one-hour climb is worthwhile, as it is followed by a pleasant descent over a ridge toward Wagrain in an area bike-park junkies never reach.

The tour provides for different performance levels - so no one is overwhelmed, and the best among us get their money's worth. Each group has its own guide. The degrees and difficulty of descents are adapted to the individual endurance levels, riding skills and desires of the participants.

Participants of the event are allowed to go with the Flying Mozart up to the top to access the Almstadl.

Almstadl Race
At Whitsun on Sunday at the September date on Saturday we will start the ALMSTADL RACE with start and final directly at the Almstadl from where the spectactors can follow the race from the terrace. A fun for the whole Family.

A start at the Almstadl Elimination Race is also possible without booking the whole event.

The rules are quite simple. We start in the KO-mode in groups of two or more until at the end we have in the final run a winner who gets a cup and the applaus of the other racers and the spectators. The race track is an uphill on the gravel road at the Almstadl and a downhill through the wood/over the meadows above the Almstadl. Length approx. 500 m

Die Regeln sind ganz einfach, es starten im KO-Modus zwei oder mehr gegeneinander bis es am Schluss im Finale einen Sieger gibt der einen Pokal und den Beifall der anderen Teilnehmer und der Zuschauer erhält. Die Rennstrecke ist eine Auffahrt auf der Schotterstrasse beim Almstadl und ein Downhill durch Wald/die Alm overhalb des Almstadls. Länge ca 500 m.

In the evening, we sit down together for a relaxing dinner at the Almstadl hotel. Here we have the luxury of staying in the middle of nature, 1,650 meters above sea level, with a deck on which the sun shines from dawn to dusk, a playground, sauna and outdoor swimming pool.

Freeride = biking along hiking trails and cross country. We take brief climbs in the bike park gondola in exchange for some fantastic descents.
